UK pavilions at recent Expos in Beijing and Milan have excelled through a single-minded approach, showcasing outstanding UK innovations and discoveries that have transformed the way we live our lives and connect with others.

At Astana Expo 2017, Future Energy, KBW was the lead creative agency responsible for bringing the UK’s latest Nobel prize-winning innovation, Graphene, to world attention.

The participatory and hands-on centrepiece installation was a Graphene-inspired Yurt. Once a tool for nomadic life, Yurts remain the cornerstone of Kazakh identity. They are a benchmark of energy efficiency, innovative thinking and social value, and a clue to the way we need to direct our future.
